BRINGING A BRAND TO LIFE

Evans Estates came to us to develop a fresh brand identity and website for the launch of Coventry’s newest estate agent. As a lifelong supporter of Coventry City Football Club (C.C.F.C.), co-founder Richard Evans wanted a brand that paid tribute to the club’s colours and spirit, while still standing strong with its own identity. By weaving subtle nods to the Sky Blues into the design, we built a brand that feels both authentic and unique, showcasing loyalty to the club, pride in the city, and a genuine connection with the community.


CREATING A ICON

The Elephant: A Symbol of Coventry

The elephant has been a proud symbol of Coventry for centuries, first appearing on the city’s coat of arms in the 14th century. Traditionally shown carrying a castle on its back, it represented strength, stability and protection, qualities closely tied to Coventry’s fortified history and industrious spirit.

Over time, the elephant became woven into the fabric of the city, appearing on crests, buildings and even inspiring the nickname of the sports centre, ‘The Elephant.’

For Evans Estates, adopting this emblem wasn’t just a design choice, it was a way of rooting the brand firmly in Coventry’s heritage.

LOGO INSPIRATION

The Evans Estates logo design draws directly from Coventry City Football Club’s visual heritage, blending elements from both past and present badges to create something entirely new.

From the current C.C.F.C. crest, the design borrows the symbolism of the elephant, while the castle turrets reference Coventry’s historic skyline. The simplified shield and bold graphic approach were drawn directly from the historic club logo.

The resulting logo brings these elements together in a contemporary form that feels strong, professional, and instantly recognisable.

WEBSITE DESIGN

Alongside the new brand identity, Create Onsight designed a modern website for Evans Estates that brings the business to life online. The site is fully optimised for mobile, ensuring a seamless experience on any device, and its clear navigation makes property searching simple and stress-free.

Bright, confident colours carry the new brand through every page, helping Evans Estates stand out from competitors while still feeling approachable and professional.

We were born and raised in this great city, and it will always be home. Supporting our local team is more than just football - it’s about community, pride, and celebrating everything that makes Coventry special.

Whether it’s cheering on the Sky Blues or helping local people move into their next home, we’re passionate about serving the city we love. For us, Coventry isn’t just where we work - it’s who we are.

The idea for our business venture started in December 2021. During the pandemic we had time to reflect upon our careers; the change in lifestyle that came through these times allowed us to look to the future and what was important to us.

I have been an estate agent for 17 years and have excelled in my career due to my genuine passion for people and property.
