Prospectus and marketing materials for The Early Learning Camp

Located on Blackhorse Road in Exhall, Coventry, The Early Learning Camp is a day nursery and pre-school facility for children. Their mission is to create the most engaging and caring early learning environment for children from birth to 8 years guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The organisation aims to:

Provide high quality care and education for children below statutory school age

Work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop

Add to the life and well-being of the local community

Offer children and their parents a service that promotes quality and values diversity.


Create Onsight were asked to re-purpose the existing brand after considerable investment in brand new Forest School building at The Early Learning Centre in Exhall, Coventry. The aim of the new building was to encourage more outdoor learning whilst following  the guidelines of the Early Years Foundation.


We were asked to help promote an Open Day where parents could see the new building and facilities. We designed various social media banners for use on Facebook and Twitter and re-designed the existing prospectus. The style of imagery and design within the prospectus has a rural, outdoors feel showing children playing and exploring their environment. The overall design is fresh, modern yet accessible and easy to read.

Show artwork for the Belgrade Theatre's production of We’ll Live and Die in These Towns

"We’ll Live and Die in These Towns is a gritty and compelling new musical drama driven by the adrenaline-rush energy and working class poetry of songs from The Enemy’s number one debut album.

A young rock musician, Argy, sits on the cusp of the big time only to suffer a crisis of confidence hours before the biggest performance of his life in a huge homecoming concert.

His manager, unable to convince him to sing, sends him away to re-visit his past and decide his future. So Argy walks the streets of his hometown, visiting family and friends in a bid to make sense of his feelings and find a way forward.

Argy’s worked his whole life for this break. But now it’s here, can he face down his fears and seize the moment?

We’ll Live and Die in These Towns comes from the pen of acclaimed Coventry writer, Geoff Thompson and is directed by Hamish Glen. It’s designed by Patrick Connellan and The Enemy’s Tom Clarke is the show’s Musical Director."


Create Onsight were once again commissioned by the Belgrade Theatre to design, produce and supply artwork for their upcoming production of We’ll Live and Die in These Towns. As a home grown production the pressure to sell tickets is greater than ever, so it was of paramount importance that the design was pitched to the correct audience, muscial theatre lovers.

The artwork was translated to banner stands, flyers, posters, badges and outdoor advertising.

We were tasked with moving the Hope For The Community brand forward to reflect its dynamic values. We developed a core idea, for such an emotive subject, to inject confidence and consistency into the brand.

The B2B brand has been reinvigorated with a new look and feel and people-focussed imagery that energises both clients and staff. Concentric circles were used as a graphic device to create movement within the design and the icons create interest and define the inidivual brands.

We have brought the brand to life with a new stylish website and re-design of the iHope platform, interactive brochures, leaflets, posters, banners stands and event litertaure as well as course materials.

The Quite Remarkable Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat illustration and design

The Quite Remarkable Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat illustration and design

It’s really quite simple. This is a play (with songs) based on the book The Quite Remarkable Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat, by Eric Idle (who was in Monty Python), inspired by the poem, The Owl and the Pussycat by Edward Lear. Got it?

This surreal and brilliantly chaotic new musical follows the Owl and the Pussycat on their mission to save the world and defeat the dastardly Firelord, his imaginary dragon, Pyron, and his henchmen, Flicker and Brimstone.

With Professor Bosh’s help, they seek the magical Bong Tree which will lead them all to safety in the Land of Bong.

Their adventures take them across the Gromboolian Plains, down a river of jam, and over a frozen rainbow – helped on their way by a host of wonderful characters including a resurrected dinosaur skeleton, the Pie-Rats and a dancing Pig in sunglasses.

This fantastically imaginative new musical adaptation of Eric Idle’s best-selling book is a celebration of nonsense, and is sure to enthral and delight children aged 6+, their families and anyone with a sense of fun and wonder.

Create Onsight were commissioned by the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry to illustrate their upcoming performance of The Quite Remarkable Adventures of the Owl and the Pussycat, by Eric Idle. The brief was to create artwork that would promote the show in the style reminiscent of the infamous Monty Python animations by Terry Gilliam. The typographic style is also inspired by his work. Take a look below to see how we created the artwork from montaging various images together to create the desired effect.

The artwork was used for all marketing materials from the seasonal brochure through to social media, posters, leaflets, banner stands, the website and outdoor advertising.

Ri-dick-ulously good artwork for the Belgrade Theatre!

"The Belgrade’s annual alternative pantomime returns to B2 this Christmas in the shape of Private Dick Whittington – a film noir spoof, loaded with so many bad jokes it’s ri-dick-ulous!

Private Dick is in a tight spot – there’s a dead dame in his office and he’s lost a suitcase full of cash. But with the help of a talking cat, a mysterious mayor and a haphazard hypnotist, he might just find the clues he needs.

Expect an avalanche of punishing puns and groan-worthy gags as our hero chases a stolen gemstone whilst battling sudden shipwrecks and suspicious snake-charmers. From the Coventry docks to a Moroccan palace - almost every expense has been spared in this jolly yuletide jape, designed especially to amuse and delight groups of grown-ups.

If you want a fun-filled night out away from the kids this Christmas, then this is the night for you! The show lasts around an hour, so it leaves plenty of time to complete your evening with a few celebratory drinks!"

The Belgrade Theatre Coventry's brief was to design show branding and artwork that reflected the fun and humorous side to their Christmas production entitled Private Dick Whittington. We designed the show artwork to appeal to a fun loving audience, blurring the boundaries between classical Christmas imagery and a film noir style bumbling detective!

The finished design was translated into posters, outdoor advertising, flyers, banner stands and online website banners for social media.
